WHAT IS NUMEROLOGY?

Numerology is a scientific study involving the symbolism associated with numbers. Numerology is said to be used to help predict, learn and understand a person’s personality traits. History Of Numerology

The study of numerology goes back as far as 10,000 years to the Egyptians and Babylonian civilizations. Pythagoras of Samos was an Ionian Greek philosopher, and mathematician who lived from c. 570 BC – c. 495 BC. He developed many of the basic theorems that form the basis of modern mathematics and is credited with formally organizing the scientifc study of numerology about 2600 years ago in ancient Greece.

An American by the name of L. Dow Balliet, at the turn of the 20th century, initiated the modern use of numerology. Today, in the 21st century, there has been a new and reborn interest in the use of numerology. This is largely due to research and publications surrounding the topic.

How Does Numerology Work?

According to the laws of physics, everything in the universe vibrates at a unique frequency. By determining the vibration rate or frequency of any object, one can establish the qualities and energies uniquely associated with that object. Numerologists believe, that by applying the principles of numerology, they can discover the major frequencies of a person. This is accomplished by using only a name and birth date. With a name and birth date, a numerological analysis of the calculated frequency will reveal significant information on a person’s personality and character.

How To Make A Numerology Calculation?

In numerology, all numbers are reduced to the single digits 1 through 9 with the exception of special master numbers 11 and 22. The numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 22 differences in vibration frequencies associated to people’s unique personality traits and characteristics.

These numbers are then reduced by simple addition. Take the number 17, for example. Seventeen can be reduces by adding 1 + 7 to get the number 8. Similarly, the number 1979 can be reduced by adding 1 + 9 + 7 + 9 to get 26. The number 26 can then be further reduced by adding 2 + 6 to get 8.

In numerology, the letters in an individuals’ name are converted to numbers and then added together. These numbers, are then also reduced. The letter C, for example, would be represented by a 3 according to the table below.

The letter I, would represent a 9; the letter E is equal to a 5, and so on. The table below illustrates the numbers associated with each of the 26 letters in the English alphabet.

By using simple math calculations with the numbers that represent a person’s name and birth date, a numerologist will formulate 4 major core elements and some 20 to 30 modifiers. An evaluation of the symbolic meaning of these elements and modifiers provides a remarkably accurate and complete character analysis of a person. Half of this information is revealed from the birth date and the other half is taken from the person’s name.
